What personal care looks like with us

Getting washed, dressed and ready for the day can become the hardest part of living at home. Our caregivers step in for exactly the tasks that have become difficult, and leave the rest to you.

We go at your pace, explain what we are doing, and protect your privacy. The goal is never to take over. It is to keep you comfortable, clean and confident in your own home.

Included

Safer transfers, fewer falls

Many falls happen getting out of bed, off the toilet or out of the tub. A caregiver who is there at those moments makes them steadier and less frightening.

Your routine, not ours

Morning person or night owl, shower or bath, the blue sweater or the grey one. We learn how you like things done and keep doing them that way.

FAQ

Common questions

01 Are your caregivers nurses?

No. 5 Caring Hearts is a licensed non-medical home care agency. Our caregivers help with daily living, not medical procedures such as wound care or injections. If you need skilled nursing, we are happy to point you toward the right kind of provider.

02 Can I choose when visits happen?

Yes. Call us to talk through the times of day help is needed, and we will work out a schedule around your routine.

03 What if my loved one is embarrassed about needing help?

That is very common. Caregivers are trained to protect privacy, explain each step and let the person do as much as they can for themselves.
